  • Land Acquisition Cases: The welfare and maintenance of the society are paramount to those of individuals under the constitution. The government, under the Land Acquisition Act, has the right to expropriate private property for public use. The payment of just compensation for the acquired land is assured under constitutional guarantee. The right to such payments is not questioned but the amount, of payments due and the valuation procedure on which such payments are based has always been the cause of disagreement. BMCL regularly submits valuation reports to Hon. District and Hon. High Courts and provide expert witness testimony in Condemnation takings.
  • Probate of a Will: When a person dies after making a Will, it can be enforced only after a probate is issued. A Probate is a copy of Will certified under seal of court of competent jurisdiction, which in this case is Hon. High Court. When filing a petition for Probate, the court fee is computed as percentage of Value of assets to be inherited. BMCL is one of the Valuers on Panel of Hon. Bombay High Court and regularly provides Valuation services when underlying assets are immoveable properties.
